2025 Junior Royalty
Some of the activities the Junior Royalty will take part in with the 2025 Royalty include riding in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade, an etiquette session at Bob’s Classic, touring Stemilt, TekniPlex, and Rocky Reach Dam, ride on the Princess Float for the TekniPlex Youth Parade on April 26 and attend a few parades over the summer!
Queen Rosemary Hughes
Rosemary (Rosie) Hughes is the daughter of Sarah Sims and Brandon Hughes. Rosie is a student at Kenroy Elementary, where she is in Mrs. Golbienko’s class. Rosie has two sisters: Ava (21) and Violet (9).
Rosie is involved in many activities, including aerial silks at Fabulous Feet Dance Studio, snowboarding at Mission Ridge, skateboarding, rock climbing, drawing, writing, playing music (ukulele and singing), performing magic tricks, and learning American Sign Language. Rosie’s favorite things include watching the TV shows Stranger Things and Psych, listening to the song "Just What I Needed" by The Cars, and watching the movie Now and Then. Her favorite musical artists are The Cars and Toto, and her favorite books are Hatchet by Gary Paulsen and A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engle. When Rosie grows up, she wants to be an astronomer.
Rosie’s favorite thing to do in Wenatchee is skateboarding at the pump track.
Princess Elizabeth Carter
Elizabeth is the daughter of Rebecca and Chris Carter. Elizabeth is a student at Sunnyslope, where she is in Ms. Memory Visscher’s class. Elizabeth has three brothers: Ben (5), Johnathan (15), and Will (16), and two sisters: Juliette (14) and Rachel (18).
Elizabeth is involved in several activities, including Math is Cool, Animal Club, Strings, Columbia Grove Church and Youth Group, and soccer. Elizabeth’s favorite things include watching the TV show Percy Jackson, listening to the song "This Town," and watching the movie Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2. Her favorite musical artist is Imagine Dragons, and her favorite book is Keeper of the Lost Cities: Nightfall. When Elizabeth grows up, she hopes to become a doctor or a NASA engineer.
Elizabeth’s favorite thing to do in Wenatchee is to get Gelato at Pybus Market.
Princess Mia Farias
Mia is the daughter of Amanda and Antonio Farias. Mia is a student at Kenroy Elementary School, where she is in Mrs. Golbienko’s class. Mia has four siblings: Alexis (28), Leilani (22), Armando (19), and Romeo (4).
Mia is involved in a variety of activities, including horseback riding, sewing, Stage Kids, dance, building with Legos, rock climbing, and spending time with friends and family. She is also a Kenroy Leader and has a passion for music. Mia’s favorite things include watching the TV show Bluey, listening to the song "Sunrise" by Forrest Frank, and watching the movie Mufasa. Her favorite musical artist is Taylor Swift, and her favorite book is the Wings of Fire series. When Mia grows up, she hopes to become a veterinarian or a music teacher. She also dreams of owning a farm and opening her own bakery.
Mia’s favorite thing to do in Wenatchee is to enjoy the Apple Blossom Festival and visit Pybus Market.
